Class cost: $350.00 (+$25 additional materials fee. Tools will be available for purchase.)
Take your jewelry skills to the next level with this specially scheduled workshop! This 2-day class will teach faceted round and fancy shape stone setting into prongs, v-prongs, flush set and hammered bezel. You will also learn how to create and set prong and bezel settings to hold unique shape stones such as marquis and pear shape. Students will be working with sterling silver, other metals are optional. All tools and materials will be provided. Extra materials and gemstones available for purchase. Students must have taken the “Tools and Skill: The Fundamentals of Metalsmith” class or have experience in soldering, sawing and filing.
